Patrick Golden is the founder of Carve Advisors, where he prioritizes building lasting relationships with clients who share his philosophy of trust, empathy, and enjoying life’s journey.
His approach is simple: work with people you like, work hard, do the work well, and have some fun along the way. Patrick’s experience in the financial industry, starting in New York City, where he saw both the good and bad sides of the business, shaped his belief that great advisory relationships are built on shared values and mutual respect—not sales pitches.

Outside the Office
Born in Sanford and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Patrick’s roots run deep in the Tar Heel State. He and his wife, Nadija, enjoy spending time with their three children—Walker, Caroline, and Tyler—watching sports (especially UNC Field Hockey), skiing, snowboarding, traveling the world and attending live music events.
Patrick is an avid mountain biker, golfer, and all-around outdoors enthusiast, though he claims he’s equally talented at relaxing on the sofa watching football, which he can do for a shockingly long stretch at a time.
